Welcome and thank you for your interest in consigning with Style. We realize that our shop will not fit everyone’s specific consignment needs…therefore we have created a policy that will help with your decision. Please read the information in full and if you have any questions, or if you are ready to make your appointment, please give us a call.
When we accept consignments: Tuesday – Friday from 11 till 4pm and limited appointments may be available on Saturdays. Appointments or calls are required for all drop-offs. Style must have sufficient time to prepare a space for your items.
Larger consignments are welcome with prior approval and will be left for us to process. You may opt to donate your unwanted items, but if you choose to retrieve them, they must be picked up within 7 days of drop-off. Style will charge a $5 storage fee per week after the 7th day for the first 2 weeks and then the items will be donated. All fees will be deducted from consignors account.
What we accept: Apparel, ranging from newborn to adult sizes. We have also added maternity and plus sizes. Accessories, such as designer handbags, jewelry, sunglasses, belts, scarves, and hats. We also accept select toys, nursery items, hair bows, diaper bags, home décor, etc.
Our criteria: All clothing must be freshly laundered and neatly folded or on hangers. We do not accept items that are wrinkled, stained, damaged, or items that have unpleasant odors such as smoke or musk.
Apparel and accessories must be good quality brands that are currently in style and no more than 4 years old.
Clothing will be accepted 20-30 pieces per visit. We suggest you bring your best 20 items to your 1st appointment .
Because our customers are primarily looking for higher end name brands and boutique items…that is what we are looking to consign. Please do not be offended if your items are not accepted. It is simply a matter of what will sale at the best possible price.
Items we may not take include: Strollers, cribs, car seats, high chairs, and any other larger items.
Apparel we may not accept includes: faded glory, garanimals, no boundaries, kidgets, George, rt. 66, and other brands from discount stores. We cannot compete with these price points.
Clothing must be in season and meet our specifications.
How we price: Style will price your items at a level that will most likely result in a sale. We research current prices and are well versed on what is selling in our store at particular times of the year. Markdowns and clearance will be at our discretion.
We consign items for 60 days, after which time any unsold items become the property of Style and will be disposed of at our discretion.
Prices & Commission: Style consignors receive 50% commission for items sold, however, designer items may be negotiated for higher commissions.
